10 years

I was born in Curitiba, the capital of southern Brazilian state of Paraná. I am married and I have a beautiful 3-year-old girl, called Clara. My family and I love to spend some time together cooking and enjoying life outdoors.

I have had the opportunity to learn from my students over the past years, in special, the young ones. Teaching young learners is absolutely challenging, but undoubtedly very rewarding. I have been working at international schools for the past four years and it has been an amazing experience to get to know, teach and learn with students from different cultures.

Something that makes me feel fulfilled in teaching is to see my students growing and learning every day, and to reach their goals by being active characters of their learning. Furthermore, I strongly believe that the partnership between the school and parents is a key influence on the child’ development, and that by respecting children’s own pace, needs and values we will be certainly preparing better human beings for this world.

For the past twelve years, I have been dedicating myself to education. I have both degrees of Licentiate in Languages, with major in Portuguese/English and its literature, and Pedagogy (Teaching Degree). I have also been conferred a certificate of the Educational Neuropsychology specialization course, which has opened a world of discoveries regarding learning process and development, and I current study Master’s in Education.
