On 19 September our Performance Hall hosted an inspiring event. Students from Central Asian University (CAU) visited INVENTO to present a volunteering programme.
The meeting was especially valuable because the university guests are almost the same age as our DP students. The conversation felt alive and close: they shared their experience and showed that volunteering is not only helping others, but also a way to open new horizons for yourself.
Our senior students learned which projects await volunteers, how participation builds leadership, helps find like-minded people and strengthens a portfolio. Such programmes become an important step when applying to leading universities worldwide, because they show initiative and a readiness to take responsibility.
In a sense the meeting was an invitation into a world that values initiative, openness and the wish to make the world better.
