How Invento The Uzbek International School Brings Global IB Best Practices into the Classroom

Invento the Uzbek International School continuously integrates International Baccalaureate (IB) best practices through active participation in global educational conferences and close collaboration with the International Baccalaureate Organization. During the 2025–2026 academic year, the school presented at the IB Global Conferences in The Hague and Mumbai, and also hosted the CCAAIBWS Regional Conference for educators from Central Asia and the Caucasus.

Throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, representatives of Invento the Uzbek International School participated in two of the International Baccalaureate's most significant international events—the IB Global Conference in The Hague and the IB Global Conference in Mumbai.

The conference in The Hague, Netherlands, brought together more than 1,600 school leaders, IB coordinators, and educators from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa under the theme "Our Humanity, Connected." The event focused on future-ready skills, educational innovation, and the role schools play in helping students unlock their full potential.

In spring 2026, the Invento The Uzbek International School team participated in the IB Global Conference in Mumbai as conference speakers. The event welcomed more than 1,100 representatives from international schools and educational organizations across the Asia-Pacific region.

The conference theme, "Shared Learning, Shared Futures," highlighted the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among educational communities worldwide.

During the conference, Invento The Uzbek International School shared its experience in preparing senior students for admission to higher education institutions. Executive Director Alexey Semenov delivered a presentation titled "DP and University Admissions: Exploring the Underexplored Opportunities."

In his presentation, Alexey discussed the opportunities that the IB Diploma Programme provides students when applying to universities around the world. Beyond rigorous academic preparation and admissions advantages, he explained how the IB Diploma can significantly increase students' chances of receiving scholarships and academic awards. Because the IB is recognized globally for its high academic standards, students may also receive university credit recognition at many higher education institutions.

During the session, Alexey shared practical strategies and valuable tools with representatives of IB schools, demonstrating how educators can help students maximize the opportunities available through the Diploma Programme. He also emphasized that the programme develops research skills, critical thinking, independence, and intellectual curiosity—qualities that are highly valued by leading universities and employers worldwide.
