Invento The Uzbek International School brings IB practice in through international conferences and cooperation with the International Baccalaureate. The school team spoke at the IB Global Conference in The Hague and Mumbai, and hosted the CCAAIBWS conference for educators from Central Asia and the Caucasus.
To give students an education of international standing, a school has to stay part of the global professional community — studying new approaches and exchanging experience with experts.
In the 2025/2026 academic year representatives of Invento The Uzbek International School took part in two major International Baccalaureate (IB) events — the IB Global Conference in The Hague and in Mumbai.
In The Hague (the Netherlands) more than 1,600 school leaders, coordinators and teachers from Europe, the Middle East and Africa gathered for the IB Global Conference under the theme Our Humanity, Connected. The conference focused on future skills, innovation in education and how schools help children unlock their potential.
In spring 2026 the Invento The Uzbek International School team took part in the IB Global Conference in Mumbai as speakers. The conference brought together more than 1,100 representatives of international schools and education experts from across the Asia-Pacific region. The central theme was Shared Learning, Shared Futures, underlining cooperation and exchange between education communities in different countries.
During the conference Invento The Uzbek International School shared its experience of senior-school university admissions, and Executive Director Alexey Semenov gave a presentation, DP and University Admissions: Exploring the Underexplored Opportunities. He spoke about the opportunities the IB Diploma Programme and the IB diploma open for university entry. Alongside strong academic preparation and extra advantages in admissions, the IB diploma raises the chances of grants and academic waivers. Because IB standards are recognised worldwide, students may also have academic credits recognised at higher-education level. In the session Alexey shared tools and practical advice with IB school colleagues so they can use every opportunity available to senior students. He also noted that the programme develops research skills, critical thinking and independence — qualities highly valued by leading universities and employers.
Just as important as global conferences is direct cooperation with the International Baccalaureate organisation. As part of that partnership Invento The Uzbek International School hosted a regional conference under the CCAAIBWS association (the IB schools association of the Caucasus and Central Asia), devoted to contemporary education, international academic standards and the further prospects of the IB programme.
The conference included meetings and training on key trends in world education practice, future skills, student wellbeing, teaching quality and the opportunities IB programmes open for students. Teachers from Invento the Uzbek International School ran a series of sessions for colleagues from schools in the Caucasus and Central Asia, contributing to the region’s teaching capacity.
Meetings like these are an important step in the school’s development and confirm its commitment to high international standards. For Invento The Uzbek International School they are a chance not only to stay in dialogue with the global education community, but to build an environment in which international practice becomes part of everyday learning.
Cooperation with the International Baccalaureate opens further development for the school, strengthens programme quality and lets students receive an education that meets the demands of leading universities and the modern world.
International education is changing faster than ever. New technology, shifts in the labour market and the expectations of future generations require schools to keep improving. Taking part in major world and regional IB conferences lets Invento The Uzbek International School remain part of the global education community and provide learning that meets high international standards.
For students and parents this means being part of world-class education, where international practice, contemporary approaches and new ideas are already part of everyday school life.
