University admission is an important stage for every student. For parents it is a real source of pride to see their children’s achievements: strong academic results, places at the world’s top universities, grants, as well as their self-confidence, independence and readiness to make decisions.
Parents of the first graduates of Invento the Uzbek International School spoke about what changed in their children over the years of study, which moments of school life they remember most, and why they are sure today that they made the right choice.
Why Invento
Almost all parents admit that when choosing a school they looked not only for a strong academic programme, but for an environment where a child could receive an international education on the IB programme (International Baccalaureate), unlock their potential and prepare confidently for the future. Today they note that their children have become more independent, self-confident and responsible, have learned to communicate freely in English, work in a team and not be afraid of difficult tasks.
For many families it was especially important to see not only academic growth, but personal change.
“For us a good school is one where a child is happy, where they are believed in and helped to grow,” said Sherzod Khalimov and Malika Umarova, parents of a DP graduate.
When parents recall the brightest moments of school life, they speak not only of grades. Olympiads, meetings with representatives of international universities, Science Fair projects, IB research papers, volunteer initiatives and international projects became the events that helped children reveal their abilities and believe in themselves.
“We felt that here every student is at the centre of attention. The school does not simply give knowledge — it creates an environment in which a child can unlock their potential and develop in a balanced way,” said Nodira Boltaboeva, mother of a DP graduate.
University admission is an important stage for every family. Parents note that throughout the journey Invento specialists helped children choose a future profession, select a university and complete every step of the application. That individual approach, they say, made it possible to make a considered choice about the future.
“A strong teacher can change a child’s professional choice. It was the Business Management teacher who became the decisive factor for our son in choosing his future direction,” said Maxim and Natalia Shabashov, parents of a DP graduate.
When choosing a school it is important to look not only at academic results, but at the atmosphere, values and environment in which a child feels supported, unlocks their potential and learns to make decisions with confidence.
“Over the years at Invento our daughter has changed noticeably. She has become more confident, learned to defend her point of view with arguments, to find common ground with people easily and not to be afraid of taking responsibility,” said Khayrullo and Nilufar Tashmetov, parents of a DP graduate.
When Invento asked parents to describe the school in one phrase, the answers were strikingly similar: “A school of opportunities”, “Inspiration. Opportunities. Future”.
“A good school helps you not only gain knowledge, but learn to think, be independent, confident and ready for the challenges of the future. It is thanks to that strong foundation that our daughter received a 40% grant to study at the University of Birmingham Dubai,” said Gulrukh Yakubova and Shukhrat Masharipov, parents of a DP graduate.
“It is very important that a child feels supported, can reveal their abilities and grow as a person, not only get good grades,” says Nodirbek Yuldashov, father of a DP graduate.
Invento’s first graduates have become part of the school’s history. The school itself grew with them: programmes were strengthened, international partnerships expanded and new opportunities opened. Today the graduates have already taken the next step — they have entered the world’s top universities and begun a new stage of life, and some of them received grants for their studies.
And for parents the main outcome was not only diplomas and offers from world universities. The most important thing is to see their children grow into confident, independent people, open to the world and ready to build their future. That is what they call the main result of studying at Invento the Uzbek International School.
