UNIST Representatives Conducted Masterclasses for Students of Invento the Uzbek International School

Summer at Invento the Uzbek International School has become more than just an exciting holiday experience. Through a partnership with UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology)—one of South Korea’s leading research universities—students had the opportunity to explore the world of modern science and technology. 

UNIST is recognized as one of Asia’s most innovative universities, renowned for its research in artificial intelligence, robotics, biomedical sciences, engineering, and physics. As part of Invento’s Summer School, UNIST professors and students prepared an engaging educational program designed to inspire young learners.

Throughout the week, Summer School participants attended hands-on masterclasses focused on robotics, programming, modern technologies, and scientific experiments.

Rather than listening to traditional lectures, children conducted their own research, solved real-world challenges, created projects, and discovered how breakthroughs are made in leading research laboratories around the world.

This learning approach fully reflects the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate (IB), where education is built on inquiry, practical experience, and independent thinking. Students learn to ask meaningful questions, experiment, collaborate, and apply their knowledge in real-life situations

The UNIST masterclasses became one of the highlights of the Summer School program, but they were far from the only exciting activity. Participants also enjoyed creative workshops, including handcrafts, drawing, and ceramics, where they created clay artworks while developing imagination, fine motor skills, and artistic thinking.

English also plays a central role in the program. Instead of traditional classroom lessons, children use the language naturally during games, collaborative projects, and everyday communication, making English an integral part of their daily experience.And, of course, no summer is complete without the swimming pool. It is the perfect place for children to relax after a busy day, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories. Throughout the day, participants enjoy four balanced meals, providing them with the energy they need for learning, creativity, and sports.
