Middle Years Programme (MYP)

INVENTO the Uzbek International School is a Candidate School* for the Middle Years Programme (MYP). We are pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy — a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education that INVENTO UIS believes is important for students.

As a MYP candidate school, INVENTO UIS follows the MYP framework around the Uzbek national curriculum content. In the MYP, learners are well aware of the learning outcomes for their year group in the subject area for the unit to make appropriate goals for improving their skills and knowledge. Learning in the MYP is authentic, engaging, and rewarding.

Middle-year students study disciplines within a global context; teachers also provide opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and align units of study to increase connections between subject areas.
